Goal Directed Occupational Therapy Inc. (GDT) was founded in 2014 to fulfill the need for specialized community care on Vancouver Island for injured individuals or those experiencing a serious illness.
Founded by mother and daughter occupational therapists Lauren Talley and Carol Talley, GDT has since expanded to a professional team of occupational therapists and kinesiologists.
We have the expertise to help our clients navigate through their recovery back to their previous occupations or lifestyle, combined with the knowledge of unique resources and rehabilitation options available to those in Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. We are dedicated to making the entire recovery process as seamless as possible.
SMART Goal Setting
“Goal setting is a powerful process for motivating ourselves to transform our visions of the future into reality. After an injury or illness, goal setting can help individuals to move towards recovery and assist them in returning to their previous roles, occupations and valued activities.”
Our experienced clinicians will help to guide you through the rehabilitation process by setting SMART goals that will empower you to achieve success on the road to wellness.
